FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

The Seventh Edition of the Off the Beaten Path Chamber Music Festival offers new adventures in several picturesque towns and villages of Bulgaria. In addition to Gotse Delchev and Kovachevitsa, this summer we invite you to attend concerts in two other beautiful community centers – in the town of Dobrinishte and the village of Karpachevo.

GUEST ARTISTS

Guest musicians Monica Ohuchi, piano (USA), Stefan Arzberger, violin (Germany), and Karin Dornbusch, clarinet (Sweden/Switzerland) will be joining us in presenting specially selected programs from the classical chamber repertoire.

BULGARIAN PREMIERES

We will present the Bulgarian premieres of three chamber works by composers Kenji Bunch (USA), Valentin Silvestrov (Ukraine), and Henri Lazarof (Bulgaria/USA), and you will have another chance to hear recently created works by Bulgarian composers Dobrinka Tabakova and Peter Kerkelov.

NEWS FROM DAR SVETLINA

This summer we will continue raising funds for renovations at the Cultural Center Svetlina in Kovachevitsa. In March, we began renovations of the bathrooms. We also plan to renovate the concert hall's windows for easier access and ventilation. We need your support to make sure we have enough funds for these much-needed repairs.

Please join us by donating online or via bank transfer. 100% of the funds will go towards renovations.

SINGING HEARTS

Vocal Camp for Children Ages 6-15

July 14-18, 2025
Gotse Delchev

Group Size: 12-20 children from Southwestern Bulgaria

Admission Requirements: The camp is designed for children who love music and are interested in singing. We encourage applications from children who are professionally inclined as well as those who are simply interested in learning new skills and are drawn to the community that the camp fosters. Among former attendees, there are folk singers who had previously performed at various folk festivals across Bulgaria, as well as children without prior singing experience but with curiosity and love to express themselves through music.
