In the summer of 2024, the Festival will again offer concerts in Gotse Delchev and Kovachevitsa. We will be presenting the world premieres of three new works created especially for the musicians of the festival, each combined with a carefully curated program of classical chamber works.
Since 2023, we have worked with three Bulgarian composers – Lora Al Ahmad, Peter Kerkelov, and Svetlin Hristov. We are also continuing our collaboration with Dobrinka Tabakova. Our special guest artists will be Alexander Fitterstein, clarinet, and Yosuke Kawasaki, violin, who will be performing in Bulgaria for the first time. Our team will also include two new artists from Bulgaria: pianist Anna Petrova and cellist Teodora Atanasova. Our festival will continue to build a strong and engaged community of supporters who appreciate music, while taking part in several social causes, including the renovation of the community center in Kovachevitsa, planting new trees, as well as cleaning the village on the last day of the festival. This year’s new initiatives will be a farmer’s market and a presentation of the delicious tastes of West Rhodopean cuisine.
Enjoy our programs and plan an unforgettable weekend with friends in the Rhodope Mountains. Information about purchasing tickets for our events will be available in early May.
